BRAD S. NEMETH USG Corporation As Director of Sustainability & Environmental Services, Brad Nemeth directs USG Corporation's environmental and sustainability initiatives for its North American and international operations. He also directs the product safety organization responsible for the health and well being of employees and end use consumers. Chicago-based USG has been a leader in producing innovative products and systems for the built environment. Its products are used in everything from major commercial developments and residential housing to simple home improvements. USG is the world's leading producer of gypsum wallboard, joint compound and a vast array of related products for the construction and remodeling industries. The company is a founding member of the US Green Building Council and the Responsible Solutions to Mold Coalition. Under Nemeth's leadership, USG has adopted strategic sustainable objectives, energized and expanded the Environmental Services role, and increased the cultural awareness of the importance of sustainable practices. Nemeth has a B.S. in mining engineering from the University of Wisconsin , and an MBA from Capella University . He started his career in engineering, and transitioned quickly into manufacturing management. Since then, he has held several positions in quality, operations, and information technology. |
