MATTHEW WESSELS Carbon Solutions Group Matthew Wessels is responsible for new business development at Carbon Solutions Group, an environmental consulting firm specializing in GHG inventory, environmental asset creation, project development and building technologies. CSG offers GHG inventory (carbon footprint), tracking, modeling, and CDM/JI project development services. CSG has the ability to source and develop carbon offsets from projects that include: wind, small hydro, solar photovoltaic, fuel switch, landfill gas, wastewater methane, agricultural methane, energy efficiency, and Programme of Activities projects. Wessels specializes in GHG inventory and risk management, as well as development of Clean Development Mechanism and Joint Implementation projects under Kyoto Protocol and U.S. programs. He also consults with US companies on the upcoming GHG compliance markets. Prior to becoming involved in environmental commodities markets he was a proprietary energies and currencies derivatives trader at the Chicago Board of Trade. |
